    The caps did not give up on the season, they didn’t trade for anyone but they didn’t trade away anyone either. This team is under preforming, so one is going to doubt that, but it’s not like GMGM traded Knuble and Wideman, and everything else not nailed down. I have faith that GMGM not making any moves means there were no good deals to be had. Remember how he turned a bag of pucks into Dennis Wideman? He isn’t stupid and he isn’t about to make a bad deal just to make one.

    The Caps are one point out of the playoffs. And three out of the division lead. The season isn’t over because we didn’t trade too much for an overrated player.
